On June 6th, 2014, China Silicon Valley received a greeting letter from the United States Ambassador to China, Mr. Max Baucus. In the greeting letter, Mr. Baucus expressed that the United Embassy to China will support the “China Trip”, and affirmed that this trip will play an important role to enhance bilateral cooperation between United States and China.

May 16th, 2014, China Silicon Valley gave a cordial reception to a business delegation team of 8 members from Wuhan. China SV representative,co-president Mr. Victor Wang met the delegation team in San Francisco.

On the afternoon of May 30th, Mr. Shuqing Guo,  the Governor of Shandong province, China lead a delegation team of 40 members, including provincial government officials and Shandong corporate executives, to the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, where they held the California-Shandong High-Level Trade and Investment Conference. China Silicon Valley was one of the main co-organizers of the conference.

On May 9th, 2014, the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in San Francisco held a press conference for the opening of the 9th “Chunhui Cup” Chinese Oversea Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of San Francisco Bay Area.

Acting on its mission of bringing together innovative entrepreneurs and high-level policymakers, China Silicon Valley recently hosted a workshop on tax credits available to companies setting up shop in California.

On Thursday 10 mayors and vice-mayors from Bay Area innovation hubs announced plans to travel to China this June in pursuit of green investment for their cities and connections with Chinese entrepreneurs and officials.

China Silicon Valley (China SV), a non-profit organization promoting investment and business communication between China and Silicon Valley, hosts cross-border panel discussion on issues China and the US are facing politically and economically in Palo Alto, California on Oct 8.

China Silicon Valley invites all mayors, developers, and representatives of enterprise from Silicon Valley cities to join the trip to China in the late June 2014. The objective of the trip is to increase the visibility of Silicon Valley in China tier one cities, build mutual trust, and draw investment interest from a range if investors across sectors including real estate, high tech company and clean energy, etc.
