The second anniversary celebration for a Silicon Valley organization turned out to be a reunion for elected officials and business leaders who have visited China as a group in the past two years and seek more cooperation across national borders.

2015 Silicon Valley Mayors’ China Trip is a huge success, held by China Silicon Valley, with the support of Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the U.S Embassy. Along with 4 mayors of Silicon Valley, there were 12 entrepreneurs who represent innovation and green energy in the fields of medical, water treatment, Bluetooth innovation, organic food supply and cooperate services, etc.

On April 24th, WANG Shi, Chairman of Wanke Corporation and Chairman of ShenZhen Business Association, led a business delegation of 60 members to visit Silicon Valley. Mr. Wang, known for his entrepreneurship in China, also an adventurer and a leader in the business world in China.

On April 30th, Mr. Leslie Yuen led a training session for China-Silicon Valley members on Value Proposition At Shearman & Sterling LLP., Menlo Park, CA.

On April 10th, Senior trainer Steven Cai presented a valuable class on business development to China-Silicon Valley members. The class was well-received.

On March 17, 2015. China Silicon Valley co-hosted the Third Anniversary Reception of People’s Daily Online USA West at San Francisco. LUO Linquan, China’s Consul General in San Francisco, attended the reception, together with over local and international 100 enterprises.

On January 11, 2015, China Silicon Valley strategically supported the Sino-US Mobile Internet Symposium together with International Data Group Asia at Hilton Santa Clara. Distinguished speakers include municipal government leaders of Chengdu and Shenzhen, top executives from IDG, Facebook, google, etc.

On June 12th, 2014, pacific time, Mr. Liu Xiaolong, Executive Vice Mayor of Zhuhai Municipal People’s Government and his party officials met with Mr. Victor Wang, co-president of China Silicon Valley at San Jose, California. Both parties shared their vision and discussed in depth about future exchange and opportunities for cooperation.

On June 6th, 2014, China Silicon Valley received a greeting letter from the United States Ambassador to China, Mr. Max Baucus. In the greeting letter, Mr. Baucus expressed that the United Embassy to China will support the “China Trip”, and affirmed that this trip will play an important role to enhance bilateral cooperation between United States and China.
