On January 25th, some 30 Chunhui Cup Competition winning teams gathered at Hanhai Investment to share their success stories and exchange ideas on potential cooperation with interested Chinese local science parks.
Following Consul Chen Zhengwen’s enthusiastic welcome speech, the award-winning teams shared their successful entrepreneurial experience with their peers. The discussion centered on seeking and establishing cooperation with science parks in major Chinese cities. Specifically, they focused on the topics of intellectual property valuation, startup-related policies in different Chinese cities, as well as problems and solutions regarding moving into Chinese science parks.
The participating startup teams are award-winning teams in 2013 Chunhui Cup Chinese Overseas Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Their business covers the fields of social network, intelligent home appliances, culture and media, as well as biomedicine, etc.. Their innovative, well market-positioned projects have already entered the process of negotiation with Chinese city-level science parks and incubators.
This gathering also witnessed the establishment of Chunhui Entrepreneur Association. The gathering participants all expressed their hope to see the Association organize more activities just like this gathering where they can share ideas and discuss possible intra-Association cooperation.
The gathering was hosted by Mr. Victor Wang, President of Hanhai Investment, and the participants included representatives from Mitsui Global Investment, Blue Angels Club, and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. It also attracted several other entrepreneur associations from Silicon Valley.
