Discussion on Chinese and US Innovation and Entrepreneurial Policies

On February 9, 2014, China Silicon Valley, together with the Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs and Professionals Association and the Association of Stanford Chinese Students and Scholars, hosted a session on Chinese and American innovation and entrepreneurial policies at Stanford University.

Mr. WANG Junming, Science and Technology Counselor at Chinese Consulate in San Francisco, was invited to give a talk on Chinese innovation and entrepreneurial policies. The Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs and Professional Association (OCEPA) introduced to the audience startup venture capital in the Yangzi River Delta. During the event, Dr. ZHANG Yi shared with the participants his entrepreneurial experience, the state of the art and features of China’s integrated circuit industry. Meanwhile, Mr. WU Lei, an experienced entrepreneur and senior investor, also offered his insight on China-US cross-border investment. This event successfully attracted more than 60 participants from Silicon Valley high-tech industry, investors, as well as Stanford student and scholar community.
