You and representatives from your company are cordially invited to meet the Governor and business leaders from one of China’s most vibrant provinces:Shandong. On the afternoon of May 30th, Governor Guo Shuqing of Shandong will lead a delegation of 22 Shandong companies to the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, where they will exchange ideas and promote trade and investment with local Bay Area businesses.
Focusing on high tech, finance, clean energy and life sciences, Governor Guo will meet with Governor Jerry Brown and sit down with local business leaders to discuss bi-directional trade and investment flows. Ample opportunity will be given for direct networking between local firms and Shandong companies across a range of industries. Representatives from Shandong’s designated high-tech development zones will also be searching for local firms eager for a leg up in Chinese markets.
With a population approaching 100 million and an economy between that of Indonesia and South Korea, Shandong offers unparalleled access to China’s rapidly growing middle class and its innovative entrepreneurs. Home to Tsing Tao beer, thriving Fortune 500 companies, and one of the ten busiest ports in the world, this coastal province has long been a key point of entry to northern China’s vast markets.
