The mayor of Antioch is being hailed a hero after he comforted a man who suffered serious injuries in a high-speed crash late Tuesday night after a City Council meeting.

On February 16th, 2016 in San Jose, Kelly Gao, Board Member of China Silicon Valley received a delegation from Shijiazhuang Education Bureau, Hebei Province China.

On January 21, 2016, China Silicon Valley Association organized the Guangzhou Science, Technology an Innovation Commission Delegation to visited Silicon Valley. Guangzhou Vice Mayor Wang Dong led the delegation and held a Science and Technology Innovation Policy forum.

On December 8th, 2015, China Silicon Valley Association had the honor to host a delegation of 21 influential business leaders from Shenzhen’s Tian’An Cyber Park Group at Stanford University. The delegates participated in an innovation class led by Stanford professors Dr. Vincent Yip to better understand business trends in the rapidly changing innovation capital of the US.

September 2015 – 14 Mayors and Vice Mayors from Silicon Valley traveled to Yangcheng and Chengdu, China for friendship and a goodwill tour. Many successful meetings led to further cooperation between nations.

China Silicon Valley Board member Marilyn Librers traveled with volunteer Damon Leung to Chengdu, China to participate at the Chengdu Innovation and Entrepreneurship Global Trade Fair On November 9th and 10th, 2015.

China Silicon Valley congratulated the grand opening of APAPA-Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association’s new chapter, Peninsula Chapter (APAPA-PNC) at Atherton on Sunday, November 8, 2015.

On September 30, 2015, CSV Silicon Valley Mayors China Trip delegation returned to the Silicon Valley after a successful trip. On October 14，2015, CSV got together with our old friends again and joined the delegation of Sichuan, which was led by the mayor of Chengdu Tang Liangzhi, and hosted the Silicon Valley “Venture Tianfu ” in Hyatt Regency Hotel conference hall in the Silicon Valley.

Silicon Valley Mayors’ China Trip is a great success, which was held by China Silicon Valley, with the support of U.S. Embassy and Chinese government. Along with 14 Silicon Valley mayors, there were 5 entrepreneurs who represent high-tech and innovation in the fields of medical, education, training, investment and cooperate services, etc.
